Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Mortgage & Protection Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the mortgage application process, providing expert advice on mortgage products, and ensuring that clients receive the best possible solutions tailored to their financial needs. Your expertise in financial services and strong mathematical skills will be essential in helping clients make informed decisions regarding their mortgage options.
Duties:
- Assess clients' financial situations and advise them on suitable mortgage products.
- Provide comprehensive information on various mortgage options, including fixed-rate, variable-rate, and government-backed loans.
- Assist clients in completing mortgage applications and gathering necessary documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, lending criteria, and regulatory changes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster trust and repeat business.
- Collaborate with lenders, estate agents, and other professionals to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Conduct follow-ups with clients throughout the mortgage process to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in financial services or a related field is highly desirable.
- Strong mathematical skills to analyse financial data accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple client cases effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and client service.
