HLP Academy

We believe that successful people never stop learning new skills. At HLPartnership, we help with this in a variety of ways.

Every new member of the network will attend our three day residential induction course, where you will be guided through our proceedures and systems, meet some of the HLP Team and make sure you’re ready to start advising.

Worthing Pier

The course usually takes place at our Head Office in the coastal town of Worthing, West Sussex.

You will be supported in the field by your Regional Compliance Manager (RCM). Together, you will implement a development plan that is tailored to you, and your RCM will suggest appropriate ways to maintain your continued professional development (CPD). HLP host a series of Business Development Forums (BDFs), in the Spring and Autumn, at venues across the UK. Supported by a wide range of Provider and Lender partners, the BDFs are our members’ opportunity to increase product knowledge through seminars, workshops and round-tables, meet and exchange ideas and tales with their network colleages and build upon their relationships with providers and colleagues alike – they are also a lot of fun!

In addition, our Senior Management Team bring together larger firms on a national level at regular Best Practise Meetings, while our RCM Team host local Best Practise Workshops for smaller firms and sole traders, all underscoring our commitment to ongoing training and development to the benefit of our members and their clients.

We also work closely with our product and service provider partners to bring our members superb online learning environments, and to deliver regular training for sales, business and technical skills. Training in auxillary products, designed to introduce you to new markets, develop and diversify your business, and grow your client list, is also available.
